<div class="ExternalClass6D163F5A6C844735A369770EA4D41CE3"><p>At HEG-FR, most courses are taught in <strong>French</strong> and <strong>German</strong> (with a <strong>B2 level</strong> proficiency in German required).</p><p>However, certain pre-defined semester programs (such as the Diploma in Financial Management, Entrepreneurial Immersion Program, and Summer School) are taught entirely in English, and a B2 level in English is required for these programs.<br></p><br></div>

<div class="ExternalClassFB90A6CBA3854989AD79940D481F0C13"><p>If you apply as an exchange or study abroad student, and your home university has a partnership agreement with the HEG-FR, you do not have to pay tuition fees at HEG-FR—you continue to pay fees at your home institution.</p><p>However, if you apply as an international degree-seeking student (i.e. to complete a full degree at HEG-FR), you are required to pay the standard tuition fees, just like Swiss and EU students.<br></p><br></div>

<div class="ExternalClassAE539C1746A84844AEB4FEA1D18AAFE7"><p>Yes. Anyone residing in Switzerland for more than 90 days is legally required to have basic health insurance. </p><p>As an international degree student, you will need to either take out a Swiss health insurance policy or, in some cases, apply for an exemption if your current insurance is considered equivalent under Swiss law.<br></p><br></div>

However, we are more than happy to assist you: we can provide you with a list of recommended student residences and guide you on where and how to find accommodation.<br></div>
