What is the difference between an international degree student and an exchange/study abroad student?

International degree students enroll in a full degree program and complete their entire studies at the institution. Exchange or study abroad students attend the institution for a limited period, usually one semester and up to a maximum of two, while remaining enrolled at their home university (HEG-FR).
