I wish to apply as an international degree student. Do I need a visa to enter in Switzerland?
In general, students from EU/EFTA countries as well as certain visa-free countries (Australia for example) do not require a visa to enter Switzerland. Students of all other nationalities are required to hold a valid National Visa (Type D). You can check here if you need a visa.
In any case, all students must register with the local authority and apply for a residence permit, within 14 days of entering Switzerland.
