I wish to apply as an international degree student. Will I be allowed to work in Switzerland?

EU/EFTA students are generally allowed to work part-time during their studies, within the legal limits.

Non-EU/EFTA students may only work after six months of residence in Switzerland and subject to authorization by the cantonal authorities.

You may work a maximum of 15 hours a week during your studies, and up to 100% during semester breaks. All employment must be reported to the immigration authorities.
